It does make a difference. Ex: Partner A scored 56 out of 7 posts. Partner B scored 33 out of 5 posts. Partner A's average is 8.0 and Partner B's average is 6.6. Adding up 8.0 and 6.6 and dividing by 2 gets 7.3, yet adding 56 and 33, then dividing by 12 gets 7.42. It is important to add points and divide by posts for team averages so as to not lose decimals which make a difference when averaging.) |
