Deltaslash/Aijin vs. Brinn/Tigress

Vlad Eternal

The Suburbs
Tigress
Re: Delta summons… - 2/2/2/2
Re: *chuckles* - 2/1/2/2
Re: whatever… i'm done... – 2/2/2/2

Deltaslash
Delta summons his armor… - 2/2/2/2
Delta’s counter-strike – 2/2/2/2
Samurai on the run… - 2/3/2/2

Final Score – 8.0 (O_o)

Nothing too specific needs to be said, other than you are both talented (coming from me, that doesn’t matter much) and it is nice to see that you can still continue on in this tourney.
None, Aijin and Brinn were DQ for OOC Fighting.

Saotome/Spider vs. Krillian/Yakuza

Vlad Eternal

The Cube

Saotome Kaneda
First Strike? - 2/2/2/2
Death isn’t… - 2/2/1/2
Telekinesis? – 2/2/2/2
Flow, you say? – 2/2/2/2
Defeat… - 2/2/2/1
Sync? – 2/2/2/2

Good posts overall, and fair to Yakuza’s attacks.

Spider-Kid
Killing isn’t… - 2/2/2/2
Boy Yakuza… - 2/3/2/2
Hey… - 2/2/2/2
Hey cool… - 2/2/2/2
Heh, heh, wish… - 2/2/2/1
Heh, it’s… - 1/2/2/2
Hoboy… - 2/2/2/1

The little ‘clever banter’ deal was quite amusing, and since this is mainly storytelling, the humor added by it was accounted for. Your posts were very good overall, but don’t forget how much a broken rib hurts. If you don’t know, just believe me, they do.

Final Score – 8.23

Krillian
Second Strike? – 2/2/2/2
Stuck between… - 2/2/2/2
He may be… - 2/3/2/2
When Having… - 2/2/2/2
This stuff… - 1/2/2/2
Ooo… - 2/2/3/2
Heh, thwippin’… – 2/2/2/1

Again, points were awarded for good storytelling, and you were, for the most part, fair. I wouldn’t want to be the one treating the compound fracture, and the pain might have been more heard about in the last post.

Yakuza
Let’s Go! - 2/2/2/2
Shut up already… - 2/2/0/0 – Telekinesis: direct attack, low score as a result
Shut UP! – 2/2/0/0 - Psychic Paralysis, low score as a result
Continued assault – 2/2/2/2
Son of a… - 2/3/2/2

Yakuza, you’re attacks were not fair by the rules, and you should have read over them again, and though in my eyes they were good, they were not meant for this tournament. Using telekinesis to directly attack someone is not a viable option, and the paralysis was exceedingly unfair in the way you presented it. The rules this tournament has were not made so this could be an outright powers battle, and so psychics might not always do well. This is not meant as an insult to you in anyway, but you need to look over the rules again and more carefully before your next battle.

Final Score – 7.42

Congrats to Saotome and Spider-Kid, who have won this match.

Gally/Jezko vs. Kenshyn/Rexer

Deep Sea Dolphin

Plains of Destiny

Gally Round 1=9
Comments-None needed.

Kenshyn Round 1=8
Comments-Said he was he still in his left fighting stance and specified what it was. But never mentioned it in a previous post and also just bowed the post before.

Gally Round 2=7
Comments-Gally, while in the air and taking a blow threw a sword longer than she is tall with force and accuracy.

Kenshyn Round 2=7
Comments-Somehow found time to tie his wound. Lots of actions. Little time.

Rexer Round 1=8

Jez round 3=8

Rexer Round 5=8
Comments=none

Gally Round 5=6
Comments-Misread Kenshyn's post and as a result messed up the counter.

Kenshyn round 5=7
Similar problem to what I saw when Gally threw her sword. In this case Kenshyn is balanced better but he's wounded and in addition a katana isn't shaped right to be thrown.

Rexer Round 6=6
Comments-Rexer ignored Gally's attack.

Kenshyn Round 6=8

Gally/Jez Team Score-8.06
Kenshyn/Rexer Team Score-7.47

Gally and Jez win! Good fight. Fun read. Everyone could've easily had all 8s, 9s, and possibly even 10s. Lost points were mostly over minor things other than two little flukes of missing something someone else said

Oni/Yui vs. Eiddon/Brogg

Deep Sea Dolphin

The Ossuary

Eiddon Round 1=7
Comments-Emptying the arena of water completely is a bit overpowered, especially as it's effecting the nature of the arena.

Oni Round 1=5
Comments-Just redirecting someone's attack by saying "redirect" is definately overpowered. Also thousands of 2 dimensional shards is another overkill attack. Nearly impossible to dodge and obviously can't be blocked.

Eiddon Round 2=7
Comments-Kind of blah evasion of Oni's attack but in recognition of the unfairness of the attack I'm only deducting a little bit.

Oni Round 2=8
Comments-None

Brogg Round 1=6
Comments-Grabbing an energy bolt(speed of light attack) without it having any effect. Forcefield like and too fast most likely to actually catch.

Yui Round 1=3
Comments-Forcefield, unblockable, undodgable, instant kill attack(the water in the lungs thing), unblockable, undodgeable, nearly impossible to escape from imprisonment attack(against Brogg) By the way, Gally, Vlad, and I discussed this one for over an hour. *LOL* *Bonks Yui* Try not to give us such a hard judging decision next time.

Eiddon Round 3=7
Comments-Doubtful that Eiddon could react to both attack simultaniously as effectively as he did. Once again though one attack was extremely unfair.

Oni Round 3=8
Comments=None

Eiddon Round 4=8
Comments-Used a shield but not an all powerful can stop anything shield. Weakened damage like armor, but didn't stop it(hence why I didn't deduct like I did from the other forcefields)

Oni Round 4=8

Yui round 4=8
Comments-None

Eiddon Round 10=8
Comments-People might ask why I didn't deduct Eiddon for throwing a sword not designed for being thrown when I did for Gally and Kenshyn. The difference here is that Eiddon just flung it , didn't declare it to be an accurate and strong throw.

Yui round 5=9
Comments-None.

Oni Round 6=9
Comments-None

Brogg Round 4=7
Comments-A few too many grammar errors. Also had to work a bit to figure out what you were doing.

Eiddon Average Score=7.30
Brogg Average Score=7.00
Yui Average Score=7.60
Oni Average Score=7.83

Eiddon/Brogg Team Score=7.15
Oni/Yui Team Score=7.71

Oni and Yui win! There were a few problems at the start of the fight but after that things went along beautifully. I wish this fight could've been concluded. Of the fights I judged this was the one I personally had the most fun reading(I enjoyed them all just this one stood out more as you can tell by the swarm of 8s and 9s).

Oni/Yui

Akuma/Ebony vs. Kimukimu/Diora

Deep Sea Dolphin

Shrunken Earth

Akuma Round 1=7
Comments-None

Ebony Round 1=7
Comments-Implied damage to Diora. Even though you warned her that she could change it you made assumptions about how tough she is that might be inaccurate.

Kimukimu Round 1=7
Comments-A bit hard to envision what she's doing.

Akuma Round 2=7
Comments-A bit weak on the storytelling. Kimukimu Round 2=7
Comments-I'm note entirely certain if you're saying you avoided Akuma's attack completely or if he grazed you.

Diora Round 1=6
Comments-Lack of storytelling. Attack is a bit vague.

Ebony Round 2=7
Comments-The evasion is a bit vague.

Akuma Round 3=6
Comments-Weak storytelling and ignored aspects of Kimukimu's attack.

Akuma Round 4=7
Comments-Would've been better to show Akuma powering up in the storytelling rather than OOC.

Kimukimu Round 3=7
Comments-The kick seems a bit vague. Are you coming at her with one leg? Or with both feet? Or so on?

Akuma Round 5=6
Comments-Did Akuma fly? Teleport(which is illegal in tourny rules)? Etc to get where he is? Also I have trouble seeing Akuma getting in position in time(even with a teleport) to properly aim and fire the second energy blast at Kimukimu so that they're both coming at her at once.

Ebony Round 3=6
Comments-Got a lot of actions in. Also by assuming that Kimukimu's kick reached you, you're accepting that either you're in the line of fire of Akuma's ki blast which you didn't comment on(he fired at Kimu after all) or that Kimikimu is not in the region Akuma's attack. Some minor spelling and grammar errors.

Diora Round 2=5
Comments-Ignored Ebony's attack against her. Attack against Akuma is vague. More description needed.

Ebony Round 4=6
Comments-Created a forcefield. Launched an offensive attack before someone replied to her previous offense.

Akuma Round 6=8
Comments-None

Kimukimu Round 4=8
Comments-None

Ebony Round 5=6
Comments-You just wrote that Kimukimu flew right past you without you dodging or anything. Also Kimikimu didn't fire anything in her previous post. She said she was trying to ram.

Kimukimu Round 5=8
Comments-None

Akuma Round 7=8
Comments-You don't need to declare how many rounds charging will take. Just describe it like you did in the post. I didn't deduct points here since it was described in the story. Just letting you know.

Diora Round 3=6
Comments-Both the defense and the attack need to be described a bit more. Hard to visualize exactly what it is you're trying to do. Also need more variety in your defenses(second time in a row where you flew out of the way).

Ebony Round 6=8
Comments-None

Kimukimu Round 6=8
Comments-None

Akuma Round 8=7
Declared damage on his opponent.

Akuma Average Score=7.12
Ebony Average Score=6.66
Kimukimu Average Score=7.40
Diora Average Score=5.66

Akuma & Ebony: (56+40)/(8+6)...96/14=6.86
Diora & Kimu: (17+45)/(3+6)...62/9=6.89

Diora and Kimu win! The fight was interesting. Some things seemed to go wrong though. The main problem is that it seemed a lot of attacks got lost in the posting. Either ignored or misinterpeted. I think part of it was that everyone seemed to be attacking multiple people at once and we're all still adapting to the team tourny thing. Next round I'll bet that everyone's average score will go up quite a bit. We have to pay more attention than we do in a one on one fight. Too both our opponents and to our partners(and ourselves when I think about it). My advice is read EVERYONE's posts carefully.

I have no specific individual comments about this fight, just the comment as an observer that a few of these posts were a bit confusing, and a wondering about what happened to Tenko’s attack with the three beams from the blade, just after he took a beating from Tenchi. But this was a very good fight. Congrats to Tenko and Mutuo, the winners.

Good posting, overall, only problem being a need for clarity at times, and maybe some expansion upon your actions.

Very good showing, doing what you could, although instead of waiting and waiting for AP to post, you could have cancelled your attack, countered Omaru’s attack, and proceeded to help Iron Man. You didn’t have to, though I thought you might have wanted with the way you acted in your OOC posts.

Final Score – 6.92

Re: AP… - 1/1/2/1

AP, your attacks seemed to make sense, if they did need a second look to check the meaning. You misread your opponent’s attacks, though, and missed out for most of the last week of the tournament. This is an annoyance to other fighters, but nothing is held against you specifically.

Good fight, nothing blatantly wrong, though some posts could have been expanded upon. Personally, I would have found it annoying to constantly shout whitefire whatever, but that’s just a personal opinion.

Final Score – 6.55

Congrats to Lex and Iron Man, the winners of this match.
