Genrou Madakko
Alias: None yet... He keeps himself behind the public eye. He fights for a great deal of reasons, and he feels the press has no right to interfere. This tends to keep others thinking of him as an underground fighter. However, finishing second place in the 3rd Annual Budokai allowed others to find out about this mysterious fighter.
Physical Appearance:
Genrou stands roughly 5'6", with long black hair coming down just to his shoulders. His eyes are a piercing red, making them seem to stand out from his face in an almost aggressive manor, but at the same time rendering them completely useless
His skin is a plethora of runic symbols of power. His light frame and athletic build are covered in black at all times, giving him the appearance of death itself.
When in his beast form, Genrou's appearance takes on a more grotesque, reptilian visage. His skin becomes a thick hide of scales. His muscle mass increases three folds, his height increases to nine feet, not including his tail, and he grows a massive pair of leathery wings, spanning 15 feet. All this is accented by the thick black claws that replace his fingers, making for a horrifying transformation_.
Age:
A little over a thousand years. He has long since lost track of when he was born... He doesn’t even celebrate his birthday anymore, as he has chosen to forget about that as well.

Fighter’s Powers / Abilities / Skills:
Genrou uses a very unique fighting style known only to two people. It is a form that utilizes ki, magic, and psychic ability and mixes them with the physical aspects to create a deadly art. Due to its demanding mental focus, it takes a lifetime to learn, let alone master. It is because of this that it'd be nearly a waste for a human, or any other short-lived creature, to learn. What follows is some of what makes up this art:
Ki (general):
Energy Manipulation -allows him to change the aspects of energy (no problem with his own energy, or energy he gathered, buy when trying to manipulate other's energy, He needs to filter it first)
Energy Placement -allows him to gather energy in a specific location, not necessarily on him. (i.e. a spot 20 ft. away)
Ki sense -allows him to "feel" your presence and not necessarily have to see or hear you
Aura Power -allows him to change the aura that his body gives off. i.e. He could mask his aura so that his power level would be higher or lower than it really is, or he could disguise his aura as another animal making it harder for others with ki sense to find him.
Energy Collection -not immediate... gathering energy from the surroundings and adding it to his own.
Energy Boosting -using his ki to boost physical attributes. (strength, speed, etc.)
Energy Filter -used to filter out opponent’s blast reducing it to its base (raw energy) which is neutral, which he can absorb.
Kong-jin -'empty hand strike' an invisible force that can extend a punch/kick further than the actual hand/foot can reach.
Psychic:
Portal Control -the opening and closing of portals as he sees fit.
Telekinesis -moving things with the mind
Electrokinesis -control electricity
Telepathy: being able to project thoughts into others minds.
Clairvoyance: being able to see through the mind instead of the eyes. Allowing for a 360 degree view and for increased ranges. Unaffected by varying brightnesses of light.
Magic:
Control Weather -self explanatory (excluding major types, hurricane, tsunami, earthquake, and tornado)
Summon/Control Fire -self explanatory
Summon/Control Water/Ice -self explanatory
Other:
Regeneration -nearly instantaneous, provided he wills for the healing to take place. (not applicable while fighting...)
Flight -self explanatory
Fighter’s Weapons / Equipment:
Genrou carries a katana, though he seldom uses it in combat. It holds a great deal of sentimental value to him (read his background), and he values it more than life itself. The other item that Genrou wields is a set of retractable claws, made of hellfire. While closed, the barely stick out his forearm by an inch. When fully extended, the claws have a 2’ reach, and extend a full foot behind and to the sides of his hands. Theses are practically indestructible and insanely light, due to several enchantments. Genrou has two relatively short swords. The distance from pommel to tip is just shy of the distance between the inside of his knee and his ankle. Each sword is held in place on the outside of each leg with surgical tape.
Armor: Genrou has no real use for armor. Throughout the years, thousands in fact, he has conditioned his body to be nearly hard as rock. Bludgeoning attacks are most easily fended off, as that is what his training was for. With enough speed however, piercing and slashing attacks both have the potential to penetrate his skin as well. Do to this, Genrou has no real need for armor...
Fighter's Personality:
Genrou is generally a very timid person and is definitely not quick to anger. When he does get anger however, the fire that burns inside and fuels his rage is one that can never be extinguished. In general, he only has two purposes in fighting. First and foremost, is to destroy Kioten. He was an incredibly evil being who destroyed every single chance Genrou would have had to have a normal life. Second, is that he wishes to prevent any evil that would lead into another situation that he had been in.
His life-style is such that no one has ever gotten close to him, since his first love. At first, Kioten wouldn’t allow it... but after a while, he had slipped so far into seclusion that he alienated himself from the world. He vowed never to be hurt again, as well as never to hurt another in that manner. It was just too painful.
Another definite turn off is his constant suicide attempts. Having wanted to join his wife in the afterlife, he had tried suicide. Unfortunately for him, Kioten had made him immortal. Since then, Genrou has tried every imaginable way to kill himself, but to no avail. He even has all the scars to prove it.
Fighter’s History / Life Story:
(This will seem a bit choppy, since I'm going to try and condense this as much as I can to save space) Kioten was born to a human male and a dragon female (while in human form). Fearing what the clan elder's may have thought, she abandoned her son as soon as he was born. He was taken in and raised by a simple family who cared deeply for him. He took a great interest in the martial arts, and by his late teens had fell deeply in love. On the eve of his wedding his soon-to-be father-in-law passed on to him his greatest family heirloom, a katana blade. Later in that evening something happened that would forever change his life. Kioten had shown up and demanded that Genrou come with him. When Genrou refused, Kioten began killing off all of the villagers starting with his fiancee. With everyone dead, Kioten turned to Genrou and said... now there's nothing to stop you. Needless to say, Kioten saw in Genrou his true potential and was determined to turn him into his student. Throughout the years to come Kioten had destroyed any attempt that Genrou made to have a normal life. When this got nowhere, Genrou decided to try taking his own life. Sensing that he might have tried this... Kioten cursed him with eternal life. Kioten then turned and laughed at his many suicide attempts. One day, bored... Kioten turned and said "you have an infinite amount of time... come back when you are ready to resume. And don't get too comfortable, or I may have to take up some target practice" and in an instant he was gone. For hundreds of years Genrou lived in fear and isolation constantly training, hoping that one day he'd be able to defeat Kioten and win his freedom.
