Past, Present and Future of the UFF
The United Fighters Federation (UFF) was formed due to a few reasons back in April. One such reason was the WFF was closing down due issues Jonah had IRL. I wanted to keep all the fighters alive, yet not take over Jonah's federation. So i proposed to Gally/18 late one night that we both teamed up. Me with my thinking and idea's. Gally with her extensive fighting background and her great system of rules made us a wonderful team.
We felt the WFF was and is still a great federation yet there was problems there. And yes i tried to change and address those problems yet as usual it ended up doing nothing. So me and gally took the problems in the WFF, and fixed them.
At the time Jonah had events IRL to deal with, so we setup a minor RP to lead into the UFF's establishment. And well once that happend and Gally brought the Budokai over everyone followed. I went to a few different sites and found new talent bring them over to join on the UFF. Yes the WFF did return once, but due to turn out it was closed once again. Does the return of the WFF in the future mean that the UFF is going to close? Nope, we do things different then the WFF. It's a wonderful group and i enjoy playing there too, yet it will not effect the UFF if the fighters don't want it too.
People ask what did we do that was so different from the WFF. Well we gave fighters the options of doing whatever they want. We did not force anyone to sign a contract. We offered a schoolhouse for new rolefighters to explore and develop there skills so they might be a threat one day. Our mecha area grew and many were getting involved for awhile due to the great roleplaying plots there. Motorball was created and gave people a way to sport on the island. Freestyle arena's were formed to give anyone a change to train. Roleplaying took off on the island. And with the League modes starting and the next event setup already things are only going to get more intersting. Sure this is all not new perhaps. And yeah some of it is done everywhere people rolefight. But there is one thing that we did different.
That was we gave the power of the island to the fighters. They decided what was to happen next, they decided what should be done. They decided what the future of the UFF is. Your input and thoughs are what make this place so great so please keep it up. In that aspect, Gally and myself thank you. If not for the fighters this group would be dead by now. The future of this island is up to you, the person reading this. Sure the future is unknown, we might fumble and fade away. Or we might grow stronger and become something more. That like i said, is up to you.
