Z is a friendly guy who will joke his way out of any fight if he can. He is ignorant of the evils of man and believes everyone has some good in them. He also believes the greater good will always prevail.
His personality when he is freaking out (berserker rage) is completely instinctual. He will attack the closest thing to him relentlessly, until he or it is dead. He is thoughtless, and without any kind of logic what-so-ever. All he can think of and see is his will to destroy everything.
Normal Z-Sword play, brawler, soldier
Berserker Z-Berserker, Psychic, brawler
Normal Z-He is your typical knight, trained in the ways of war and fighting. He is excellent with his sword, very agile due to his light weight. He has latent psychic abilities that sometimes come out when he is desperate, but this is rare.
Berserker Z-His strength and agility are super-personified. His latent psychic abilities also surface allowing him to manipulate material objects pretty much however he wants. His sword skills improve greatly as well, and the sword's magical properties are more in tune with this form, as the sword itself is an evil blade (see equipment)
Sword of Tears-This weapon was forged from the tears of a demon, when it cried over a human girl it had fallen in love with. The tears crystallized making the blade. It is a clear blade, so clear that you can't see it unless you concentrate or light hit's it just right. While in normal Z's hands the sword is dormant and looks like a normal broad sword. It WON'T work for him as anything other than a regular sword. When in berserker Z's hands the sword "fades" it's color becoming the see through crystal. It's magical properties come into effect as well acting as resistance to most minor spells. Since it is a blade forged from a demon, the user is 100% immune to all normal and magical fire and sources of heat, but only if it is "activated". It also has the ability to caste some rather nasty fire spells, such as (but not limited too) fireballs, lava lakes, etc.
History
Z comes from the island town of Zidonis, a small rural type land governed by a long forgotten king. The town itself isn't on any maps made within the last 100 years. It has long been forgotten. Z lived with his brother Wu Xi for all his life. Wu Xi always talked of leaving the island to find his fame in better places and Z had always planned to follow him. Than one night Z awoke to find his brother gone. He got out of bed and looked around the village but Xi was gone. Z assumed that Xi had fulfilled his life long wish to leave. He went back to sleep already forming a plan to find his brother. The next day, Z awoke and, just as he had assumed his brothers room was empty. Everything had been cleared out, as if no one had ben there at all. Except for a curious looking sword. Z walked over to the sword and saw a note attached to the hilt. Picking it up he realized it was from his brother. The not was simple:
"Z, if your reading this than my
Plan was a failure. Take this sword and come
to the United Fighters Federation. I'll find you
there.

Z was completely puzzled. What did Xi mean by his "plan"? The only thing to do was to take the sword and go meet Xi. He stuffed the note in his pocket and grabbed the sword. The second his hand touched the blade, Z thought he heard laughter, and then his head erupted in pain. He saw visions of death, demon and children being cut down by a shadowy figure he couldn't make out. The screams almost drew him mad. And then in the blink of an eye, it was all gone.
Now after a years time Z has finally made it to the UFF and has all but forgotten the horrific visions. But laying dormant in his mind is the spirit of the Sword of Tears. The demon who still cries for it's lover. The demon has possessed Z and wants nothing more than to extract revenge on anyone it can.
