Kugutsu is of average size and very fit. He has short brown hair and a stern face, more from expression than features. He wears a black Japanese boy’s school uniform.
Fighter's Personality: - calm but forceful. He can speak loudly when necessary and lets little stand in his way or sway his decisions.

Fighter's Power/Abilities/Skills:
Nullifier - As a keeper of the Throne of Yord, Kugutsu has been given special powers to control its ferocious energies. He can cancel out any type of “energy” especially if magical in nature. This ability also extends to ki based and psychic type powers. This power also works on techonoligical energy but the affect isn’t nearly as impressive. He can only “tweak” energy created through technology (allowing him to do things like deflect lasers and whatnot). Note: this also includes things like super strength, speed, and durability that are granted through magic, ki, or psionics
Summoning - Kugutsu has a spirit servant that lives in his shadow. It can shift between two and three dimensional (allowing it to hide in shadows, duh). The shadow creature can become solid but doesn’t really have a solid form (you can’t grab or trap it cause it’ll sort of slither away). It isn't really "stronger" than a human because it can't lift objects, but it can hit really hard. It also can be incredibly difficult to fight againnst because it doesn’t really move like a human. The Shadow creature (which isn’t actually made of shadow, I just use that word to describe what it looks like) is connected to Kugutsu and so can exist within areas that he is using Nullification but is drastically weakened.
Martial Arts - Not exactly world class ability but he knows the basics and can easily take care of himself in your run of the mill street fight or bar room brawl.
Sword - Kugutsu carries a somewhat exotic blade. It’s thicker than a Rapier but not quite as big as a longsword. Basically it was forged specifically for him to be able to be used with both eastern and western fencing techniques. He is an expert at many different swordfighting styles (I’ll even be stealing moves here and there from anime).
Fighter's Weapons/Equipment:
Just the sword. It is made from ancient damascus steel (excellent weapon material, nearly impossibly to break because of the combination of strength and flexibility, also holds it’s edge almost perfectly). The sword has no magical properties since, most often, he’s using his power to cancel such things in the immediate area.
Fighter's History/Life Story:
Kugutsu was chosen to be the keeper of the Throne of Yord, and so was given the powers necessary to control it. During his travels to earth (our realm) from his world (the Magic Realm or something like that, I forgot) he realized he’d need to acquire some new skills to defend himself against those who didn’t rely solely on magic forces. Unlike on earth, the secrets of making damascus steel have not been lost to the inhabitants of the Magic Realm.
Kugutsu had already been something of a fighter and was always a fast learner. As his new sword was being forged, he studied all kinds of fighting, adopting different styles for different situations and forming a mix that he felt was well balanced and fit his body type and mentality.
