Appearance:
A very beautiful and very youthful looking man, Mephisto is the sole ruler of the elven and human populations of C'baoth. His hair is long and black, and his eyes are a brilliant green. His lithe, medium sized body is usually clothed in loose white robes with comfortable slippers to cover his feet. His looks bely the ruthless leader inside.
Personality:
Often smiling and laughing, Mephisto seems to be a cheerful youth. However, this hides the fact that he is here on an agenda, known only to him and possibly his companion Adam.
Powers:
Mephisto's immortality stems from his array of Atlantean technology, which allows him to create a multitude of clones for his use. Using gene manipulation techniques heretofore unknown to man, he has fused together human and elf DNA to create a highly powerful, yet human-looking hybrid body to house his ancient mind. This body has incredibly powerful psychic ability, which is further amplified by a device worn on Mephisto's wrist. This device grants him a heightened psychic energy, however it's source is known only to him. His body is the epitome of health and is designed to be much stronger than regular humans or elves. This is supplemented by some martial arts training he received before taking his leave of C'baoth, which is a combination of his physical abilities and psychic abilities. The device, when activated, also has some rather special anti-psychic effects, that I won't list for storyline reasons.
Abilities:
Just the general headings is all you're getting ;P
1)Telekinesis(TK): Mephisto is able to generate a sort of TK bubble around his body, making a sort of suit of energy. This bubble can be modified to augement his strength, provide defense, generate long range attacks, and augment his speed and strength. The only visible clue of it's activation is a distortion of the light waves around it, creating a sort of shimmering effect and making everything behind it look distorted, thought at times he might cause it to generate a purple glow to make it visible. It also feels like a patch of static electricity when felt. He uses this ability to fly as well.
2)Hand to Hand: Mephisto uses a similar style to Eiddon's when it comes to hand to hand, i.e. physical attacks that are often augmented by energy. Mephisto is just a lot more ruthless in execution of his techniques, but lacks the experience and finesse of the aurafist.
3) Pyrokinesis: closely related to TK. The ability to generate fire with a thought, often used as a distraction and not as powerful as his TK.
4) Ancient Technology: That would be the device pretty much. Mephisto has a high familiarity with machinery, and can generally tell a given machine's ability from sight. He also is very curious about new gadgets and will often drop everything to try them out.
5) Limited Energy Manipulation: Mephisto is able to divert relatively small energy waves and tweak other waves into doing what he wishes. For example: Mephisto can use his powers to manipulate the light spectrum, giving him the ability to create illusions that are immaterial. He does not, however, have the power to regulate his body temperature like Eiddon can.
Tournament Additions: For reasons of his own, Mephist has decided to compete in tournaments with the other denizens of this island. Because of this, he decided to use his device to damper his powers to make things more interesting. The device will make it far harder for him to use the amount of power as he's used to. However, he will not be totally defenseless. Trading in his white robes, Mephist has chosen to wear a specially designed black bodysuit created through his psychokinetic abilities. To go with it, he also created a thin, metallic rod which is about his height in length. His device doesn't affect his inherent strength or martial skill, and he is well trained in this sort of weapon.
