About 5’ 6” at nearly 197 pounds of muscle. The sword fighter is known only as Daemien, has a trim look to his body, yet when placed on a scale is much heavier than his appearance would indicate. This however does not hinder his speed. With strength, not the greatest, but great enough to match most any kind of creature Daemien quickly grew to be a deadly hunter in his hometown. Enemies speak of light blue, almost crystalline blue.. eyes that shone a dark sapphire blue when he was forced into combat. A strong jaw that seems to be etched from granite and etched cheek bone. Broad shoulders give people around him the impression of power, while his apparently weak stature give them a confused outlook upon the young warrior.
Daemien normally wears low cut shoes with specially made synthetic soles that make not a sound on the ground as he walks due to a special material and an enchantment placed on them by his father. Black pants come down to stop just over top of his shoes and a sash is tied over top the place where his shirt crosses the top of his pants and the shirt ends just under the sash. The shirt itself is made of silk and is slightly baggy with long sleeved arms. Unfortunately people rarely see this as he normally wears a gray robe with a black trim running the length. Two swords are lashed to his hips by a cloth belt.
At his neck the robe has a collar that runs smoothly around and is about an inch above his neck line. His hair is light brown, yet is commonly mistaken for dirty blond in the sun light. It sits slightly on his head and is pulled back and tied most of the time.
Personality:
Has a most human air to him. Trouble never really is far away from him it seems as since he was a child vampires and demons seemed to have had an indelible impression on his life. Because of this he grew to become a demon hunter. With almost supernatural powers over his body Daemien has the ability to run at incredible speeds and jump incredibly high. When fighting with his dual Tai Chi swords he is the deadliest combatant to set foot in any arena.
Never speaking much until the time is right. He spent three years in silence in a Buddhist temple until a demon named, Rilorac, attacked and began killing everyone. Because of this he learned how to listen and interpret the world. For two months he also blind folded himself and lived in silence so that he could learn to use his ki to get a better, stronger view of the world around him.
Fighter’s Overall Fighting Style:
Is primarily trained in Jujitsu and Kendo and fencing. When using two swords has a fluid rhythm and pattern... when using a single sword Daemien’s style changes into a lightening fast untraceable pattern. Often times able to hold any groups of enemies off with a single sword, normally will not draw the second blade.
When in hand to hand combat Deamien has more strength than an ordinary human and has a stronger body than most due to body hardening he went through in his youth. Specializing in striking, vital points and joint locks mostly he has developed these areas to become most deadly.
His primary ki ability seems to be the ability to absorb energy from the world around him and force it into a powerful energy attack... Depending on how he shapes the attack it can do one of several things... from knocking an opponent back thirty feet, to punching a hole in that person.... This ki absorption ability also has a stronger, most destructive ability that comes with it though and Deamien has only needed to use it once in his life time and even then he used it stupidly.
Mini-Nuclear Explosion of Anger- When extremely pissed off Deamien can focus and attune himself with every bit of energy around him. As he begins to absorb energy rapidly from everything around him a ball of shimmering light emanates from his chest first, then will erupt into a cylinder of pure energy that fries anything physical that touches it and absorbs any energy thrown at it. When he first used this move three years ago it extended upward through the atmosphere. As he begins to lose control of the energy... or he decides he has enough, the energy cylinder collapses down on the user. Using his body as a epicenter on the surface the energy angles outward and flows over the surface of the earth frying everything... Like a nuclear explosion it destroys everything, but it does not cause a radiation fallout, and it only destroys up to 8 miles circumference.
Weapons and Equipment-
Wears combat armor sometimes when infiltrating a building for information or espionage, but normally leaves armor behind. Never uses guns really. Only if absolutely necessary.
His primary weapons are two Tai Chi blades, but are virtually indestructible. They are light, but incredibly strong. Carries an extra sai up his sleeve and a small dagger in his belt. If needed Deamien brings a long, curved tachi blade. Unlike the Tai Chi blades, which were completely devoid of marks, the tachi has an ornate scabbard, with plates meant to pop apart. The tachi has a mechanized scabbard. When twitched to the right the scabbard which is comprised of plates pops open apart and allows the sword to be swung directly from the back with out pulling up to draw.. It lays all but three inches from with the cross-guard resting directly behind his head...
History and Info
When young the demon, Rilorac, attacked his families dwelling and killed his father mother and brother. For some cruel twist of fate the demon let him live and as he believed he should’ve died too, Deamien grew to despise demons and vampires. As he learned jujitsu and sword fighting he put himself through one of the most rigorous body hardening training ever. After reaching the age of 15 his teacher was slaughtered by Rilorac. He sought the monster and was nearly killed. But again the demon let him live. After this he left America and traveled to Tibet where he lived in the silence of a Buddhist monastery, where not a whisper could be heard. His ears sharpened themselves during this time and he forgot a lot of the English language. Deamien’s ability to move in the dark and while blinded is also incredibly good. He needs not his eyes to see the enemy.
This of course only lasted until Rilorac tracked him down again. The demon entered silently and began killing the devout worshipers. Not a one uttered a word as they died and so the demon was nearly on top of him when Deamien realized it was there. Drawing his blades the young man defended himself perfectly and in the end delivered a series of fatal wounds that would end Rilorac. Unfortunately his vow of silence was broken when Rilorac knocked him through nine pews and he grunted.
As he left the monastery the monks were already carrying there dead to the graves. He then traveled back to America to continue hunting the demons and vampires there... Back at home he found that demons had over run everything. Torn and tattered stores dominated his once beautiful town. The demons had perverted everything innocent about the land and in doing so had also destroyed his friends. Even the spirit world was tainted by the demons reign. All the humans that didn’t crumble to evil’s will were rounded up and placed in a ghetto to do jobs and fulfill purposes. In an fury never before seen by these demons Deamien stormed them where ever he saw them and slowly their reign came to an end. In the final battle the demon contingents surrounded and attacked Deamien with everything they had. As the ferocity and vigor of the fight raged, so did his emotions. If he died everyone else would die.... As this happened he focused completely on absorbing energy around him into one apocalyptic attack. A cylinder of energy soared through the atmosphere and in a rush crashed down and flowed out through all the demons... Not one survived. The devastation had completely destroyed everything. The evil impurity in the spirit world around the town was purged.. everything physical and spiritual was completely destroyed. And Deamien almost was too.
He recovered in a makeshift hospital built by the people who survived the ghetto city. After the city was rebuilt he went and bought a place in the business district. A warehouse where the ground level was converted into a giant gym and training floor and the upper levels were his personal quarters and living areas. Having learned of his true powers Deamien now seeks to further his knowledge of what he can do... and so he eventually came into possession of a pamphlet. It depicted a great allegiance and a federation of fighters. All striving to become the best. And so later that month Deamien joined the UFF.
