Fighter's Personality:
Kincaid has had to become a master of his emotions to survive in the Vampires' world. You will rarely see a face other than the one he wants you to see. He most commonly displays no emotions. He is rather confident. He enjoys the darkness and clings to the shadows (bright lights hurt). Kincaid is pretty quiet, and doesn't like to talk unless he has to. Tremere Vampires nearly always want to excel and better themselves, a trait not lost on Kincaid. He is constantly studying Thaumaturgy to create new paths. He also loves to fight, and will readily accept a challenge from anyone.
Fighter's Overall Fighting Style:
Kincaid is primarily a sorcerer, though he is quite adept in the use of long swords and martial arts.
Fighter's Power/Abilities/Skills:
Kincaid has a wide variety of Vampiric powers to choose from.
Thaumaturgy - This is Kincaid's main power. It is Vampiric blood sorcery. With it Kincaid can manipulate elemental magic, summon creatures and items, teleport, use telekinesis, manipulate ki, drain blood from a distance, and boil the blood in the veins of an opponent.
Auspex - This is Vampiric telepathy. Kincaid can speak mentally, and read auras allowing him to be aware at all times.
Potence - Increases strength greatly.
Celerity - Increases speed greatly..
Fortitude - Increases toughness greatly.
Obtenebration - Kincaid has the ability to manipulate shadows, summon darkness, become darkness itself, and even manipulate shadow portals.
The Beast - In every vampire, there is a demon called the beast. This creature drives the vampire o commit atrocities. If the beast wins in a struggle of willpower, the vampire frenzies...attacking everything it can with a demonic savagery. Vampires strive to avoid this however, as the beast generally ruins the vampires body in the process.
Fighter's Weapons/Equipment:
Kincaid carries an ancient Vampiric blade; the Mormigeil. Forged in the blood of the Antediluvians, this sword is completely indestructible. It's edge is eternally fine. The weapon is perfectly balanced, allowing for some truly elaborate maneuvers. The blade can, with the proper incantation, tear through dimensional fabric. Kincaid keeps it floating around him in the astral plane, where he can summon it to his hand with a simple word of magick. The sword's handle is black, and it has a cross hilt plated with a blood red crystal. The blade is dark, and leaves red trail behind when he swings. The weapon is 5 feet long, the handle being 1.5 feet; the blade, four.
Kincaid also possesses an extremely powerful staff. He uses this to channel his magick and energy, allowing him to cast spells with little to no drain on himself. The staff is seven feet long and was originally made of oak, but the process it went through to gain it's power fused it with vampiric blood. The staff now consists of an unearthly metal, formed from the unholy marriage of blood and oak. It maintains it's wooden feel, but has the resilience of the strongest metals. It is, in fact, indestructible.
Fighter's History/Life Story:
Kincaid was born into the extremely powerful house of mages, the Hermetic Guild, 876 years ago. Kincaid had a natural skill for manipulating the fickle forces of magic. He quickly made a name for himself as one of the most promising apprentices the guild had ever produced. While Kincaid was mastering human sorcery, the Archmage Tremere, who was a major leader of the guild, was pursuing a dark goal. The sorcerer had become obsessed with immortality, wanting to preserve his power forever. He had found an ancient tome of black Rituals that described a process by which the old mortal could reach his goal. It required the mage to ingest the soul of an Antediluvian, the strongest vampires in existence (except for the Progenitor, Caine). These ancient creatures were the founders the 13 Great Clans. Tremere and his seven apprentices hunted down and trapped Saulot, the Antediluvian of the Clan Salubri. An epic battle followed, in which the mages wore the godlike vampire down with spells that ravaged the Antediluvians estate. With the vampire subdued, Tremere drank the blood of Saulot, completing the ritual and gifting him with immortality. However, Tremere quickly realized he had lost much more than he had gained, as the ritual didn't just gift him with immortality, it gifted him with Vampirism. The curse of Caine damns all Vampire's souls, corrupting them beyond the point of redemption. As Saulot crumbled into dust, so did his progeny. Tremere's actions enraged the rest of the Vampire Nation. The Hermetic Guild, upon finding what Tremere had become, turned against him and his servants slaying all those they could. Faced with enemies on all sides, Tremere went into hiding, leaving his seven apprentices to handle the situation. These Cainites embraced their own childer in turn, and so on and so forth until the ranks of Tremere swelled. Many of the mortals chosen came from the Hermetic Guild, giving the new Clan Tremere a powerful background in sorcery. Kincaid was one of those chosen, his skills attracting the attention of Milletick, one of Tremere's apprentices. The Embrace destroyed his mortal magic, forcing Kincaid to learn the blood magick of the Vampire clan. Tremere continued to speak with his seven apprentices telepathically. They vampires formed the Council of Seven, and each took seven apprentices of their own. These vampire's were given the title of Pontifax , and trained extensively in the art of Thaumaturgy, the Vampiric Blood Sorcery. Kincaid rose to this level, and for the next 300 years, studied Thaumaturgy under his Sire. During this time, Kincaid mastered all the paths of Thaumaturgy. Kincaid's hunger for power was extremely strong, however. He began to get bored with material wealth, and sought power in knowledge and sorcery. Kincaid dropped out of Cainite society and joined the Inconnu, a group of extremely powerful and elusive vampires, completely unconcerned with the political back stabings of the rest of the Vampire Nation. They gave Kincaid a huge castle to lord over, which provided Kincaid with a haven and the isolation he needed to further his knowledge. He spent 2 centuries there, developing new paths and rituals. He trained so hard that he came to the point where he could invoke even the most powerful spells with minimal effort. As Kincaid neared his 800th year, he began to look for a new challenge. He found it in the inhabitants of an island which held a group called, "The United Fighters Federation".
