Ebony- "How..." 2/3/3/2
*Iron Man- "Re: How..." 2/2/3/2
*Ulexes- "ah..." 1/3/2/1
((Brushed off Ebony's attack rather easily. A more detailed description of defense would have been nice, or something to indicate that the attack was actually capable of being a threat))
Akuma- "Hmph..." 1/0/3/2
((Nothing besides a short list of actions, a little difficult to picture for anyone who doesn't play Tekken on a regular enough basis to know what Paul's counter throw looks like))
Ebony- "Come..." 1/3/3/2
((Some fragments and oddly structured sentences made it very difficult to figure out what Ebony was doing, and in one area, what was thought and what was action))
*Ulexes- "and..." 2/2/3/2
*Iron Man- "Re: Come..." 2/0/3/2
((List of actions, nothing really else to the post. Fine otherwise))
Akuma- "Hmm..." 1/0/3/2
((Same as above, just a list of actions, a little confusing if you don't watch wrestling. Heck guys, one line of dialogue gets you two Story points in my book =|))
*Ulexes- "how..." 1/3/3/2
((Fine overall, just a bit too much OOC for trying to keep a clear image of what's going on))
Akuma- "I..." 2/3/3/2
*Ulexes- "by..." 2/2/3/2
Ebony- "Not..." 2/2/1/2
((Explaining the combination nature of your move still makes it quite unclear as to what will happen. Reading the posts consecutively causes a lot of confusion without the OOC, the content of which is not counted in judging. They can only really affect judging scores if excessive OOC harms the continuity of the post. This was docked under Logic rather than Clarity, since it the writing makes it obvious as to what specifically you are doing.))
Akuma- "Score" 2/0/1/2
((See above, plus the whole list of commands thing))
*Ulexes- "Combos..." 2/3/1/2
((Again, combos harm the logic score))
*Iron Man- "Re: Combos..." 2/3/3/2
Akuma- "Perfect" 1/0/2/2
((Lotta actions, one giant sentence, hard to picture what's going on.. I'm still not sure just how that's supposed to look to be honest..))
Ebony- "Oops..." 2/0/3/2
*Ulexes- "an..." 2/3/2/1
((couldn't put the two posts together like Jez's because Akuma made a defensive post in-between them))
Akuma- "Lex..." 1/0/3/2
((Strange run-on sentence. Needs commas or some other punctuation to prevent the awkwardness))
*Ulexes- "oops..." 2/3/3/2
Ebony- "Battle..." 1/3/3/2
*Iron Man- "Re: OOC" 1/3/3/2
Akuma- "Release..." 2/1/1/2
((Combo, very hard to read without proper punctuation))
Ebony- "Burning..." 2/3/3/2
*Iron Man- "Re: Burning..." 2/0/3/2
Ebony- "crawling..." 2/3/3/2
*Ulexes- "head..." 2/3/1/2
((Combo... Can't picture if defended against...yeah.))
*Iron Man- "Re: crawling..." 2/2/3/2
Ebony- "I goofed..." 2/2/3/2
*Iron Man- "Re: I goofed..." 2/2/3/2
Ebony- "Wha..." 2/3/3/2
Averages:
Ebony/Akuma: 7.8125
Ulexes/Iron Man: 8.5333
WINNERS: Ulexes/Iron Man
Sorry this took so long, and double check the math for the rankings, it's about 1 am here...
This was a hard match to judge, there were a lot of OOC things going around, and to their credit, everyone was awesome with each other, no feelings got hurt or anything.
The only things that seemed to be problems for the competitors seemed to be the storytelling and clarity, with a brief stint of combination moves, which distract from the clarity of the match, leaving the reader wondering what the heck actually took place, and what was negated by other fighters' moves. Storytelling points seemed to be hard to get here, when something as simple as an inner monologue guarantees at least 1 or 2 points...
Clarity was a problem with a few attacks, but I've already commented on them earlier in the post, so I won't be redundant.
All in all, not bad, you guys! ^_^
